resurrection.

I'm bringing this blog back to life after a little over a year. I legit need to start using this again! Not only because I want to . . . *cough* . . . but, I actually HAVE TO in one of my classes at school. Haha, I'm going to keep the blog about beauty related stuff & I'll add a few pictures of myself in every now & again. Why not right? Anyways, just wanted to let you beautiful people know that I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack !

okay, I keep going MIA on this blog thing, but between my band, work, and school...

it's hard ! i feel like i never have time for anything i really want to do ..

but whatever, i'm back ! sitting under the dryer with curlers in my hair blogging

lets start with Mark cosmetics..

I got 2 i-glimmers in "Glammed" and in "Smoked"

these creme shadows are pretty pigmented.. i must say i'm a little impressed. the product is a tiny bit sheer, but very buildable and the color is pretty long lasting. they are a little slick.. but it's okay.. a slight wash of this set with a cute eyeshadow over it should last a good while without creasing.

Next, i got a shimmer cheekblossom

i haven't tried the product out yet so when i do i'll let you know how it wears..

its supposed to adjust itself to make the perfect natural cheek glow for your complexion.. don't know how truthful that is though.. the texture of it is kind of velvety and less shimmery than i would have thought. the size of the product is a bit smaller than i expected but whatever.

i got 2 shimmer tube gel blushes in "Pink Pearl" and "Peach Pearl"

got these about a dollar each! they were on the "last chance" list and for a buck

who could resist! ... i definitely should have though ! i haven't tried them to their

full potential yet, but from the look and feel of it, i may aswell be putting glitter gel

on my face! not nearly as pigmented as they were on the website and look full of shimmer..

but in reality they have next to none.

my last purchase from Mark was from their hair care line "salon straight"

its a heat defense spray for when you blow dry or flat iron or curl or anything having to

do with direct heat to your hair! ... i like it so far, really does the job! i like it so far..

the smell...ehhh not so much. kinda smells like perfumey deodorant ? i don't know. it's weird.

the smell doesn't stay on your hair though, thank goooodness !

Cosmetics from Target : Pixi eye palates and NP Set palate

i got the pixi palates in No.1 Smoldering and in No.2 Sensual Smoky Eyes

each of the pixi palates have 3 sub-sections of 4 shadows in each. giving it a total of 12 shadows

in each palate.. these colors are beautiful, easy to blend and beyond pigmented! the No.2 Sensual Smokey Eyes (i own 2 of the same palate.. don't ask) is always in my purse, the colors are so wearable and the palate is compact enough to fit in my makeup bag =]

the NP Set palate is full of 10 wearable shades, some frosty, some shimmery, none matte. different shades of nude golds and bronze shades along with a plummy color and a shimmery black. comes with a double ended sponge tip applicator [yuckoos!] very cute and pigmented.

i'm pleased with these! =]

From ELF i got a nail polish in

its a really cute "mauve" color, dries almost instantly no matter how many coats you have on and dries with a semi matte shine.

i also got a duo shadow cream in Berry Mix .. one side is a pearly lavender and the other a prune-ish color.

where'd you get those shoes....?

SO ! after reading DulceCandy's blog post on her experience with ShoeDazzle* I decided to give it a shot... The way it works is you take a personalized style quiz [ i think its bull..] they figure out what you like and hook you up with 5 different shoe choices for the month.. the catch is you pay about $40 a month for your membership.. the awesome thing about it is you don't have to pay if you don't like any of the 5 shoes they've "hand picked" you simply just click the link that says something along the lines of skipping said month and you're off the hook.. they won't charge you unless you say " send me these shoes now!" pretty sweet deal, eh?

Let's start with a WOW. I made my purchase on Dec.26th... they shipped them on Dec.28th.. got them today Jan.2nd. Kinda weird they shipped two days after the purchase was made, but I mean whatever. its a huge site, I can't complain because my shoes got here in no time !

From WOW let's shift on over to Ooh La La... when I opened the package i was instantly in love with how cute the parcel was ! cutest box in the world... and each shoe was individually wrapped in PINK [my fav color..] tissue paper! They also came with a cute carry bag for traveling.

WOW, Ooh La La to Ehh OK.

I wear a size 37 [US size 7] shoe. These shoes are a little tight around the toe area and a bit uncomfortable when I tried them on.. but whatever they're absolutely GORGEOUS! i figured i'll just have to break them in.. which is normal with new shoes so whatever. the whole "Ehh OK" part comes into action right about ..... now. okay, so like they have this whole "expert personal stylist" thing going on and maybe I just have the worst luck in the world but, they didn't get my style right and I was kinda like umm -___- okay. but who cares, my shoes are the *tihs ;]

Overall?

Totally worth the money in my opinion. Shoes look great and it was speedy service!
